Mark your calendars for the 6th Annual North Dakota Regional Environmental Conference which will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2026 at the National Energy Center of Excellence at Bismarck State College in Bismarck, North Dakota. The Call for Presentations deadline is August 7, 2026. This all-day conference invites environmental professionals representing industry, consultants, legal, government, and academia serving in the areas of air quality, stormwater, water quality/wastewater treatment, waste management, and more.  Through keynote presentations and technical sessions, attendees will learn about new, relevant issues and network with other professionals.  The North Dakota Regional Environmental Conference is hosted by the Upper Midwest Section of Air & Waste Management Association (A&WMA-UMS).

2026 Arrowhead Environmental Conference

Tuesday October 20, 2026

Black Woods Event Center - 195 Highway 2, Proctor, MN

This all-day conference will bring together environmental professionals representing industry, consultants, government, and academia, in the areas of air quality, water quality, brownfields, emerging constituents, and waste management. Through technical sessions, attendees will learn about emerging issues, relevant industry topics and have the opportunity to network with other professionals.

We invite you to submit a presentation proposal if you have research, a recent project or other information relevant to a broad regional audience of Environmental Professionals. To distinguish this event from others, we are specifically looking for presentations that are of interest to regulators, environmental professional, and industries in the Arrowhead Region of northeast Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin. We specifically encourage presentations relating to the mining industry, logging/paper and environmental projects promoting economic development in the region as well.

As you prepare your presentation proposal, it should be designed for seasoned professionals and university students. Sales presentations are not accepted. In recognition of speaker preparation and participation, the presenter’s conference registration fee will be waived.

The deadline to submit an abstract is July 31, 2026.
